Kitten Kay Sera and her Pink World

Lots of people have a favourite colour – but very few take it as far as one Los Angeles woman, who is so obsessed with the colour pink that all her clothes, her house and even her dog are the colour.

Kitten Kay Sera, 46, says that she’s had her pink obsession for 25 years – and hasn’t worn anything but the colour for much of that time.

Kitten, an actress, even wears pink to funerals, has decorated her home in California entirely with pink, and has gone to the length of having her dog Kisses dyed to match.

So strong is her devotion to pinkness in all its forms that she has even broken up with lovers if they didn’t share her passion for the rosy hue.

Kitten insists that she isn’t strange – she says that she simply has a natural affinity for the shade, which makes her feel ‘lovely and luxurious’.

Chopstick into toddler brain

Bacchetta nel cervello, povero bimbo.Medics have saved a toddler who fell while trying to walk – and stabbed a chopstick into his brain. Chao Chao – just 14 months old – was playing by himself at the family home in Shandong, eastern China, when he slipped and fell on the chopstick sending it straight up through his nose.

His parents drove 10 hours to Beijing to a specialist head injury hospital where medics managed to remove the stick during a four hour operation. “We got to it before any infection set in and he should make a full recovery. Although it pierced his brain, it doesn’t seem to have done any long term damage,” said head surgeon Dr Sun Wei.

The world’s Smallest Mother Gives Birth to her Third Baby in 3 Years

The world’s smallest mother, Stacey Herald, is celebrating the birth of her third baby.

Doctors warned Stacey, who is just 2ft 4ins, it would be too dangerous for her to ever have children. But the determined 35-year-old defied medics to have a family and has given birth to three babies in the last three years.

Stacey e Malachi

Her new son Malachi was born eight weeks prematurely by caesarian section on November 28, weighing just 2lb 10oz. Stacey, who has 34 stitches across her stomach, said: ‘He’s the most beautiful perfect boy I’ve ever seen.

‘All I want to do is stay by his side.’ She had been expected to give birth just before Christmas, but doctors decided it was not safe to let the pregnancy go any longer.

The mum of three from Kentucky, USA, has a rare genetic disorder called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which causes brittle bones, underdeveloped lungs and stunted growth.

She uses a wheelchair but manages to care for daughters Kateri, three, and Makya, 18 months, with the help of husband Wil, 27, a trainee priest.

Stacey was told having children would risk her life because the pressure of the pregnancy would put too much pressure on her body and squash her internal organs. But after marrying Wil, who is 5ft 9ins, in 2005, Stacey bravely decided to go ahead with her plans for a family.

‘Mum told me I’d die, but I reminded her I was a miracle, and a baby would be a miracle, too,’ she said. Now the couple have three children and have not ruled out the possibility of more.

Baby Malachi, who is just five inches long, is being cared for at a hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will have to stay in an incubator for several months.

His sister Kateri, who has the same condition as Stacey, spent the first five months of her life in hospital. Although most normal mothers would find three children under four a challenge, Stacey said Wil helps her care for them.

‘Now Malachi is here, I can get about better and can feed and change the girls again,’ she said.

‘Anything I can’t do, Wil can. He’s great at getting up in the night and changing diapers and feeding the girls, he really is a blessing.’ She added: ‘Malachi is having trouble feeding and some circulation problems, but the doctors say he’s doing well.

‘I feel heartbroken every time we have to go home and leave him in the hospital.

‘We’re looking forward to the day he’s strong enough to come home.’

A Shelf-Stacker was allegedly sexually assaulted as he worked in a Plymouth store, say police.

Officers have released CCTV footage of what they have described as a ‘bizarre incident’ in the hope they can identify, and speak to, the man in it.

The employee was stacking shelves at a Plymouth Co-op store when an unknown man began hanging around the aisle.

The video footage shows the man crouching down on numerous occasions, which is when the alleged offence took place.

The employee informed the store manager and they looked back at the CCTV footage.

“I’m used to having customers around me and having arms stretched out, but I did not look up until the end,” he said.

“I had no idea what was going on. I thought it was all a bit strange.

“I was shocked and I couldn’t believe he was in the aisle for that long.”

The incident occurred on Saturday October 31 at about 10am. A week later on Saturday November 7 at about noon, the suspect returned.

Dc Steve White, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are treating this incident very seriously and we would appeal to the public’s help in tracking down this man.

“It is a bizarre incident and the shop was full of people.

“Someone must have seen the man and could well help us identify him.”

A Co-operative Group spokeswoman said: “We are working with the police to attempt to identify a man who is suspected of sexually assaulting a member of our staff in the Plymouth area on two occasions.

“The assaults took place on two consecutive Saturdays – October 31 and November 7.

The man is described as being white, clean shaven and of medium to large build.

During the first incident he was wearing a brown T-shirt with jeans and black shoes and glasses.

During the second incident the man was wearing a blue shirt with jeans.
